Christmas cheer came and
brought presents for the
residents. Residents
feasted over pizza while
exchanging white elephant
gifts. On Christmas Day
the residents went out for
lunch and for New Years
Eve, there was a party in
theater to bring in the new
year.
Friends for Mt Hood
Community College's QSA
returned to help decorate
Christmas cookies. Laughs
where heard as residents
and students put green
frosting on sugar cookies,
then toped them off with...
whatever they wanted to.

was yelled by the film crew
(PJ & Mike) as they made
another visit back just for
the holidays.

The students where given a
tour of the community and
introduced to the residents.
After visiting for a while,
they broke out into groups
to interview the residents
asking about various gay
related issues.

Eastern Oregon University's
Gay Straight Alliance Club
traveled over 4 hours to
visit with the residents at
Rainbow Vista. They also
brought with them scarves
they made to give to the
residents as well as a whole
lot of cheer.

Then it was time for lunch.
Residents and the students
had a pizza party with
salad, sodas, and treats.
The club then presented
Rainbow Vista's residents
with scarves they made
themselves. Each resident
got to choose their favorite.
Dee, Bill, Michelle, Sharon, and

February 6th, 2010 was a
very entertaining day full of
music, dance, and comedy
acts. The Portland Sisters
of Perpetual Indulgence
performed their "Lips and
Lovers Revue" in our dining
room for our residents,
guests, and friends.
